Why this site
This website is the solution to our problem. Our partners, the real hobby chefs, look in the kitchen cupboards and... bam! There is another delicious, complete one! They see a recipe, adjust it and... bam! Another tasty meal!
But when you ask after a year, “Can you make that again?” we often get the answer, “Well, I have no idea how I did that.”
This site was created out of necessity! We want to record the recipes so that we can use them again later and they won't get lost. For ourselves, for our descendants ("Mom, that Indian curry was so good, how do you make it") and for you, who happened to end up on this site
About the Kitchen Wizards
There are actually two of us! We prefer to remain anonymous, but let's call ourselves Jan and Kees, still beautiful, old Dutch names!
KP Jan has recently travelled all over the country and knows countless places for delicious food, from small snacks and street food to luxury restaurants. He is skilled in making sausages, from Italian dry sausages to Amsterdam Ossenworst, and his dishes from the "Green Egg" are very popular. At home he is often a spectator and helper for the meals his kitchen princess prepares.
KP Kees was a member of a cooking club for over 20 years, where we cooked together once a month. Kees is a real recipe cook, without a recipe he can't do much. At home he rarely bakes, but his elaborate Indian dishes are a hit with the family! With an experienced kitchen in his home, he likes to take a step back and has dedicated himself to tasting, making suggestions and occasionally trying something himself.
That's it! The recipes on this site are from our partners. But who cares? As long as they are simple, clear and tasty!
