White fish with crumble from the oven

About the recipe

There are many variations possible for savoury crumble on fish. This time I chose a Mediterranean flavour with sage, rosemary and a clove of garlic. Delicious with roasted vegetables and/or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients and supplies

  • 200 to 300 g white fish (cod, whiting, plaice, etc.)

  • salt and pepper to taste

Savory crumble:

  • 1 to 2 handfuls of Panko

  • 1 handful of grated old cheese (or Pecorino or Parmesan)

  • 2 sprigs of finely chopped rosemary

  • 5-6 sage leaves

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • 1.5 tbsp finely chopped capers

  • A little olive oil

  • but taste pepper

  • 2 tbsp dill (optional)

Prep-work

Put a little oil on the bottom of an oven dish.

Season the fish with salt and pepper and place in an oven dish.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.


In a large bowl, combine the panko, chopped rosemary, sage, crushed garlic, chopped capers, dill, pepper and finely grated cheese.


Sprinkle the savoury crumble over the fish and spray or drizzle a little olive oil over it.


Place in the oven for another 12-15 minutes.
