Ingredients and supplies

  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 50 gr cashew nuts or almonds or pine nuts
  • 50 g fresh basil leaves or flat leaf parsley or arugula
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (or a little more)
  • some salt and pepper

Prep-work

No special preparation.

Preparation

  • Take the hand blender with mixing bowl or a food processor with blade.
  • Peel the garlic and chop coarsely.
  • Throw the garlic, nuts, greens, cheese and oil, some salt and pepper into the mixer bowl and mix until you have a nice homogeneous thick creamy sauce.
  • Taste and add where you taste or see any deficiencies.

Very tasty in pasta or on a brown sandwich with cheese or on a freshly baked warm baguette!
