These fudgey brownies are not only a classic, but also a tribute to the first recipe I ever downloaded from a bulletin board in the 90s! Thirty years later, we're still enjoying this delicious treat that has been lovingly passed down

Ingredients and supplies
- 300 gr dark chocolate
- 250 g butter
- 5 eggs
- 500 gr sugar
- 15 ml vanilla extract or 3 sachets of vanilla sugar
- 150 g flour
- 250 g walnuts

Preparation
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla on high speed for at least 10 minutes until a homogeneous mass is formed.
Pour the mass into a mixing bowl and add the chocolate and flour. Mix with a hand mixer until smooth and even. Finally, add the walnuts.
We put the mass in baking paper in a glass (lasagna) dish
Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes.
Brownies are done when there is no batter left on the (knitting) needle.
Let cool and cut into pieces.
(Cutting will work even better if you put it in the refrigerator for an hour after cooling.)
