Ingredients and supplies

  • 1 pound pork
  • 3 onions
  • 3cm ginger
  • 5 tbsp sweet soy sauce (Manis or Medja)
  • 5 tbsp vinegar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • some vegetable oil (not olive oil) for frying

Prep-work

PreparationPepper and salt and sliced pork.

Chop the onions, peel the ginger and cut into slices.

Preparation

Fry the onions in the oil until soft.

Add the ginger slices and pork.

Once the meat is seared, add soy sauce and vinegar to taste.

Let it simmer for half an hour.

Delicious with an Indonesian rice table.
