Fish tacos

    Ingredients

    • 200gr whitefish

    • 1 red pepper

    • 2 tbsp taco seasoning (homemade recipe here)

    • 1 lime (lemon), the zest

    • ​

    • 5 leaves of iceberg lettuce

    • 2 to 3 tomatoes

    • 1 sliced pepper

    • 3 spring onions

    • 1 lime (lemon)

    • 1/4 bunch of fresh coriander

    ​

    Other supplies

    Aluminum foil, Guacamole , 6 taco shells

      Mis en place

      Cut the red pepper into strips.

      Cut the iceberg lettuce, spring onion, coriander and tomatoes small/finely.

      ​

      Preparation

      Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

      Prepare 2 sheets of aluminum foil (or baking dishes).

      Place the pepper, cut into strips, on the foil.

      Sprinkle the fish fillets with the Taco spices and lime zest (strips of the peel) and place on the pepper strips.

      Close the parcels and cook for 15 to 20 minutes.

      ​

      Bake the taco shells in the oven for 4 minutes.

      Pick the fish into smaller pieces and mix in the bed of peppers.

      ​

      Fill taco shells with guacamole , lettuce, pepper, tomato, spring onion and picked fish and coriander.

      Finish it off by drizzling some fresh lime/lemon juice over it!

      ​

      That will be a lot of fun!
