Ingredients
For the cake
300gr cake flour
150gr Sugar
150gr Butter or margarine
2 eggs
200gr Carrot/Carrot
150gr Raisins
150gr pecan nuts
3 tbsp Amaretto
1 tsp Cinnamon
some salt

For the topping/icing
50gr Butter
100gr Cream Cheese/MonChou)
125gr Powdered sugar
1 packet of vanilla-flavored sugar

When one of our sons asked for the recipes for Grandma's Christmas Turban, Grandma wrote down the recipe in 2018. Here you will find the literal recipe, not yet made by us.
Please note that Grandma makes the turban with an old gas oven (ETNA)! So let's experiment with the gas setting / temperatures!
Preparation
Melt butter,
Grate carrot.
Mix the carrot, sugar, salt, eggs and flour well.
Add nuts, raisins, cinnamon and Amaretto and mix well.

Place in the mould.

Preheat the gas setting to approximately 175 degrees and bake for 45 minutes until golden brown. In the middle of the oven.
Topping/icing:
Soften butter, add cream cheese, icing sugar and vanilla sugar and mix until smooth. Store in the refrigerator.
Spread over the cake slice after cutting.
