Grandma's cookie
Quantity: 30 pieces
Complexity: easy
Working time: 10 minutes
Total preparation: 30 minutes

Ingredients
300 grams of flour
250 g soft butter
200 g white caster sugar
3 tsp baking powder
2 bags of vanilla sugar
Preparation

Take a baking tray and place a sheet of baking paper on it.
Preheat the convection oven to 175 degrees.

Sift the flour into a mixing bowl and add the other ingredients and knead everything into a nice dough.
Form it into a roll and cut about 30 slices.
Place these on the baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes.
You may have to bake twice.

I have this generous recipe because the cookies always go very fast.

Instead of 300 g flour, you can also use 200 g flour and 100 g oatmeal.

You can also make variations to the taste:
Finely chop 8 balls of stem ginger from a jar and mix with 1 tsp djahe (ginger powder) into the dough
add different chopped nuts such as walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds or pecans, mixed or not.
raisins or cranberries

I make these regularly for our walking club. Delicious with a cup of home-brewed coffee in the forest.
