Roasted peppers and onion, roasted garlic

    Ingredients

    • 4 peppers

    • 2 onions

    • 6 cloves of garlic

    Roasted peppers, onions and roasted garlic can be used in pasta, rice and couscous salad and pepper soup. It is also very tasty on a (goat) cheese sandwich.

    Mis en place

    Halve the peppers.

    Cut the onions into thick rings.

    Leave the garlic in its skin.

    ​

    Preparation

    Turn on the oven with top heat or grill at 220 degrees.

    ​

    Place the baking tray high in the oven and roast for about 30 minutes (duration depends on your oven).

    ​

    Once the peppers are blackened, remove them from the oven and place them in a plastic bag.

    Tie the bag closed.

    After fifteen minutes you can easily remove the skin from the peppers.

    Cut into strips or pieces.

    Peel garlic.

    ​

    Spread Turkish bread with cheese, roasted peppers, onions and garlic.
