Fudgey Brownies

Quantity: depending on how big you are
cuts the pieces.

Total preparation: 1 hour and 5 minutes


  • 300 g bitter chocolate

  • 250 grams of butter

  • 5 eggs

  • 500 grams of sugar

  • 15 ml vanilla extract
    or 3 bags of vanilla sugar

  • 150 grams of flour

  • 250 g walnuts


Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

Melt the chocolate 'au bain Marie'.

Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla on high power for at least 10 minutes until a homogeneous mass is formed.

Pour mixture into a mixing bowl and add chocolate and flour. Mix it with a hand mixer until you have a smooth, even mass. Finally add the walnuts.

We put the mass in baking paper in a glass (lasagna dish)

Bake in the oven for about 45 minutes.

Brownies are done when no batter remains on the (knitting) needle.

Let cool and cut into pieces.

(Cutting is even better if you put it in the refrigerator for an hour after cooling).
