Chickpea flour dosa (Besan)

Total preparation: 45 min


    • 150 g chickpea flour

    • 150 grams of flour

    • 2 tsp mustard seeds

    • 1 tbsp turmeric/turmeric/turmeric

    • water

    • Pinch of salt

    Optional: garlic and/or cheese


      Mix the chickpea flour, flour, turmeric, salt and mustard seeds with the water to make a batter.

      Add water until the batter is slightly thinner than pancake batter.

      Let rest for at least 30 minutes.

      Fry the Dosa in a dry frying pan for 1.5 minutes until light brown.

      Optionally add garlic or cheese.

      Turn the Dosa over and fry the other side until light brown.

      Nice with Dal.
