Onions, braised, with cream and aged cheese

(oven dish)

    • 8 large onions

    • 250 ml sour cream

    • 200 ml whipped cream

    • 1 tsp salt

    • Ample nutmeg

    • 75 gr old cheese (grated)

      Peel the onions and cook them for 25 minutes in plenty of salted water.

      Remove from the pan with a slotted spoon and let drain briefly.

      Halve them and carefully place them cut side down in an oven dish.

      Stir the sour cream with whipped cream, salt and nutmeg and pour over the onions.

      Place in an oven at 200 degrees for another 30 minutes until the onions are soft, creamy and sweet.

      Sprinkle the cheese over it and let it melt (just in the oven).
