Ingredients
12 slices of bacon
6 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp coarse mustard
lemon juice to taste
12 slices of (delicious) bread
few leaves of iceberg lettuce
2 tomato
1 small onion
100 g chicken fillet
salt/pepper to taste

Optional: cheese slices
Preparation
Fry the bacon slices over low heat until crispy.
Toast the slices of bread.
Mix mayonnaise, mustard, salt and pepper together.
Taste and add a little lemon juice if you like.

Cut the onion into very thin slices/rings.
Also thinly slice the tomato.
Cut the iceberg lettuce into narrow strips.

Brush the slices with the mayonnaise.
​
Divide half the iceberg lettuce over 4 slices of bread.
Divide 2 thinly sliced tomatoes over it.
Divide half of the thinly sliced onion over the tomato.
Sprinkle with some salt and pepper.
​
Top the tomato/onion with the 100 gr. chicken breast and cover with a slice of bread (mayo side up).
​
Divide the remaining lettuce over it.
Top with the crispy fried bacon.
Divide the remaining onion (optional: slice of cheese).
Cover with the remaining bread slices.
Press and cut the sandwich in half (secure with a wooden skewer).
