    • 1 to 2 handfuls of cruesli/nuts/oatmeal

    • Pinch of salt

    Filling:

    • 4 apples (fresh sour, Elstar or Jonagold)

    • 1 zest of lemon

    • 4 to 5 balls of stem ginger

    • 1 tsp cinnamon or gingerbread spices

    Other supplies

6 oven dishes (we use dishes with a diameter of 9cm)

      Mis en place

Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them into cubes. Finely chop the stem ginger

      Preparation

Mix the butter, sugar, flour and pinch of salt in a bowl into a cohesive dough. Then add the handfuls of granola and/or nuts and/or oatmeal so that you have a crumbly dough.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut them into cubes. Finely chop the stem ginger and mix it with the cinnamon and lemon zest into the apple pieces.

Fill the single-serve containers or a bowl with the apple mixture and crumble the topping over it.

15 to 20 minutes in the oven.

The apple crumble is tastiest when warm.

A scoop of vanilla or ice cream is also very tasty.
