Apple turnover from the oven

Quantity: 2 pieces

Complexity: easy

Working time: 10 min

Total preparation: 20 min

    • 1 apple (preferably fresh and sour; Elstar)

    • 1 tsp cinnamon

    • 1 tbsp sugar

    • 2 sheets of puff pastry

    • some lemon/lime juice (or from a bottle)

    Other supplies

    Baking paper is useful

      Simple recipe to quickly make something deliciously sweet. Delicious hot or cold;

with a dollop of whipped cream with coffee,

with a few scoops of ice cream for dessert.

....or sink your teeth into it without any fuss......

This recipe is for 2 flaps (which is quite a bit) but can easily be expanded! Just multiply everything.

      Mis en place

Peel the apple and cut it into cubes the size of dice.

      Apple dice in a container.

Add the cinnamon and sugar and stir briefly

Sprinkle with the lemon juice and stir again.

You've now had the hardest part.

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.

Place the puff pastry sheets (sticky side up) on baking paper.

You are going to fold the sheet diagonally, so place the apple cubes on 1 half of the diagonal line of the puff pastry sheet.

Fold the other half of the puff pastry over the apple pieces, sprinkle the flaps with some sugar.

Place in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
